Installation of GlossaryScript
Fllow these easy steps to get your Glossary/Dictonary site up and running
  1. Use programs like Winzip or WinRAR to unzip the file GlossaryScript.zip
  2. Open following files in text editor (UltraEdit or TextPad etc.)
    top.php
    bottom.php
    definition.php
    letter.php
    search.php
    Replace "YourGlossary.com" with your website name.
    Replace "Your" with your site name. (Title Case)*
    Replace "your" with your site name. (lower case)*
    * Please note that all the changes are case sensitive.
  3. Open db.php and GlossaryScript.php (in Connections folder) and enter your mySQL database details (DB name, username and password).
  4. Open google.html and top.php. Replace the pub-id with your Google Adsense account's pub-id.
  5. Upload all the content of "GlossaryScript" folder on your server.
  6. CHMOD "import" folder in admin to 777. The data supported for import should be in the format as given in "Readme" folder under the filename "Sample Data Glossary.csv".
  7. Go to the URL http://www.yoursite.com/admin/install.php. Default username/password is admin/password. You will see a message that will say Done!!! Please delete the install.php from the server.

    We would advice you to immediately change the default password. To change the password:
    Open login.php in admin folder and change the username and password on Line 2 and Line 3 respectively.
  8. Go to http://www.yoursite.com/admin to ADD/REMOVE/MODIFY your glossary terms.


    Please note tht PSDs and font for the banner of the site are included with the script. You can find the PSDs in "Banner PSD FONT" folder. You can customize the main header banner with your sitename using the PSD and the font provided.
